This is our favorite green tea, "Yerba Mate." I have no idea how you pronounce it, and since I'm from the south, I'm sure I don't do it justice. My husband and I drink one cup a day. It has a lot of health benefits, and gives a nice energy boost too. I found the cheapest place to buy Yerba Mate is at Trader Joe's. I absolutely looooove Trader Joe's. If you have never been, you are missing out! But thats a post for another day;) As for today, brew up a cup of this wonder tea and enjoy, it maybe just what the doctor ordered.

Fruit Dip
This is my version of a healthier fruit dip. I have been making it like crazy, the last few weeks.
(I have even been known to eat it by the spoon.)
Here is the recipe:
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup low-fat sour cream
1 pkg. low-fat cream cheese
1/2 cup raw honey
4 drops of liquid stevia

Believe me, when I make this, it last no time! It also works great for school lunches.

Pancake Morning
The kids are out of school today, and there is snow on the ground, so it felt like a Pancake morning. Pamela's Pancake mix is my favorite gluten free mix, you can buy a smaller bag, but, we use it so much I buy the larger bag. I use the recipe on the back of the bag, the only thing I do different is add a tsp of vanilla. Don't you just love vanilla?
Breakfast is served! YUM!

DIY Chalkboard Project
This is a real easy DIY project that took just two hours from start to finish. I purchased the plate stand at T. J. MAXX for 5.00 & the red metal plaque from Hobby Lobby for under 3.00. I used chalkboard paint from Home Depot.
Take the plaque make sure its clean, and spray paint it in a well ventilated area. Allow to dry and BAM! Instant chalkboard!
If the chalk board is for the kiddies you mite want to add an extra coat of paint to the process for added resilience.
This is the final result. It was simple & was easy on the pocketbook! Don't you just love it!!! I'm seeing more chalkboards in my future.
