It's been real crazy at the Mccool household and it's only just begun.
I'm beginning to think October is just as busy as December.
I did however find time to make some halloween cookies
with the kids.
I had so much fun being in the kitchen and making memories with
Bub and Sis.
I just looooove this photo, I'm smiling and tearing up as I write this,
I want to cherish every moment with them.
LOL! Boys....
She is such a big help in the kitchen.
I had to join in on the fun.
My nephew joined in on the fun too.
Good times :-)
I would like to thank my goofy husband for taking the photos.
HAHAHAHAHAA!!!!!!!
Here is the recipe:
1c. butter
1c. sugar ( if you like your cookies sweeter, you can add more)
1c. sour cream
2 eggs
1 Tbl vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
4c. flour
Cream together softened butter with sugar and eggs.
Add vanilla, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Slowly add flour one cup at a time.
Dough should be sticky.
Refrigerate for one hour. I did not have the patience for this part and the cookies
turned out fine.
Roll out on a floured surface and cut with cookie cutters.
Bake at 350 for 9-10 minutes.
ENJOY!
